Dear Mr Gifkins,

Thank you for coming to camp. You made it fun and interesting and cool. You gave up all your time for us. Thank you for encouraging me to do the amazing race. It was really fun when you took us around Lake Kiriopukae. On that walk I liked how we saw the grave of Michael Noonan.

The interesting part was when we had to walk across the wire bridge at night. I was wondering what I was walking on; I thought it was a rope or something.

My highlight was  when we went kayaking, that was my first time kayaking. The boats are so uncomfortable their

An interesting fact I learnt was how to do a flip off the climbing the rope climber thing. It was a challenging to flip off the rope climber thing but I did it.

As we drove along the road I heard a squeaky sound coming from the boot .Then i heard something drop. I looked out the window and our luggage was there. After a moment we were inside we put all of our luggage in our bedroom.Then we started walking to the beach.

As I walked into the soft sand i started setting up my towel . I put on my wetsuit i slided my feet into the water . I started to put my body into the waves. As i got to the deep part i started to worry.

Waves.

I started swimming under thehourendis waves. Then when i got up from under the waves i got hit again . Dad came out and got me. Then i never went out that far again. Later on i started sunbathing in the sun.   

Home.

When we got back in town we went to get a ice cream. After we ate that we went home and went to sleep. The end.

                               Best memory

One time my Mum, Dad, Cooper and I went out for dinner. We went to McDonalds, because the whole family likes McDonald's. I got a frozen coke. Then we drove to the spa pools and brought the McDonald's with us. When we got home we let the dogs inside for a sleep. Opti slept on my  bed and luna slept on Mums bed.                                   

                Most loved hobby

I have 2 dogs and they are both girls. Opti is 9 years old and she is a Labrador. Opti loves belly rubs. She had her big toe cut off. My other dog is a Husky, she is 2 years old. Her name is Luna. Luna likes big hugs and she jumps at you.

 

               

            What makes me laugh

My dad always makes me laugh. He offend pulls funny faces. He has the craziest dance moves. There are lots of stories, but my favourite one was when dad tried to show off at the skate park. He went flying off the ramp    

and landed on his bottom.

                    Fun fact

I like to do a lot of things but my favourite thing is surfing because I like to catch a lot of waves. I go surfing at waimarama beach, I go once or twice every month to go catch some waves at waimarama beach. We also go and stay at my family's beach house so we can surf there for a couple of days. I stay at waimarama for about 2 or 3 days every month.

Sophie pascoe Sophie pascoe When Sophie Pascoe came to Parkvale School we introduced her  to the class.  And we asked  her some Questions and she showed us her medals they were really cool she has gold silver and bronze . she has 24 medals  and she is an amazing swimmer . in rio she won 3 gold 3 silver 1 bronze . she is a fast swimmer and is amazing even though she only has one leg.after 3 months she got youst to it. Sophie Pascoe other info This is sophie pascoe with the medals she has won . sophie pascoe has won 2 silver medals ,2 gold medals and one bronze from rio. Sophie Pascoe has months of training for the olympics .

The Interview On Tuesday the 8th 2016 we interviewed Sophie Pascoe and she greeted us when we let her in she let us feel her medals and Sophie said when she got them and where she got them from rio .I asked Sophie Pascoe 3 questions and Jasmine asked her another 3 1 of my questions are  when did you start the olympics ? Jasmine's question was how does she swim with one leg? So that went well and we asked her more questions and she answered straight away . when Sophie Pascoe came into our class we were really Excited and  Really nervous but finally we asked her the Questions.

facts Our athlete is Sophie Frances Pascoe she was born january the 8th 1993 she's 23 years old .She does swimming in the paralympics When Sophie Pascoe was a little girl she was playing with her ball then the ball went in front of the lawn mower and her dad didn't see her and accidently ran over her leg and now she has no  leg. Sophie Pascoe won a gold medal and  a silver on 2016 12/9  of September. Sophie Pascoe is a Paralympic swimmer on 12 of september she won two medals . me and my buddie are doing a magazine about her. When Sophie Pascoe visited we first asked her what is it like to be an olympian? Then she answered it is amazing because if you win you feel so awesome but it's not about winning for me it's about having fun.me and Sophie agreed.  Then she asked me and my buddie a question that was:when you're older do you want to be an olympian .our answer was maybe but probably yes. Third Questions :does your leg still hurt from it getting cut off? Sometimes it depends on what i do to it Sophie Pascoe won another medal on 14/9 in rio.
